For Virgins and Not-So-Virgins, this how-to-solder workshop will take you through all the why's and how's, tips and tricks of Soldering as you create a stunning 3-dimensional Medal for display! In this class we will make an individual 2-dimensional charm, a 3-dimensional charm which will be the centerpiece, and a double bubble. A special side-bar of glass-cutting for those who want to know it all, not to mention 3+ jump ring techniques! All put together and tied to a twig for hanging. Whether you are a true Virgin and have never soldered before...or just wish to hone your soldering skills...this Workshop is the way to learn all about soldering. Kit of glass included.	Set a scary tone this Halloween with a show-stopper of a necklace. Two-tiers of glass showcasing "layers" of spooky imagery which will be your centerpiece, black and amber crystals, darkened metal (to show your mood), creepy attachments, and more. Brilliant as it can be a two-tiered necklace, or a bracelet and single-tier necklace (at your whim). The "layered" effect is the key, and you will be able to play with depth in a way that will make your necklace so fondiliscious even Lurch will get excited about it...and you'll want to wear it year-round. Kit of glass, crystals, findings and imagery included.	It's creepy and its cooky...it's altogether spooky. Obsessed with Taxidermy? Always wondered what's inside a birdies belly? In this pre-Halloween workshop we will create a cooky & spooky life-sized birdie featuring a belly shrine (so we can see what lies inside). Imagine the birdie just swallowed a little girl (embodied by the porcelain doll inside the shrine) or spiders are roaming among birdie intestines (created by you)! And...for the silly little something-something...our birdie will rest on wheels with a string like an old pull-toy! How scary-cute is that? Scarier still...there IS soldering involved! When complete, you will have an unusual work of art which you can display during Trick-or-Treat or long afterwards. Kit included.	Where did the Munsters live? The Adams family? Your mother-in-law (LOL-NOT)? Now we can capture the essence of halloween scariness in Haunted House of Style...a glass-encased haunted house of our very own. In this very special Workshop we will spend the first day collaging the interior and exterior walls, floors, and ceilings of our dream home. Some fun techniques for achieving a fanciful look will be discovered among creepy details. Then, we’ll spend the second day assembling our 1-1/2 story home. Oh, did I mention that we’ll be making furniture, too? Couches and chairs and tables, oh, my! Perhaps a guillotine? In the end, we will have our haunted house. And for those that aren't into spooky stuff...you can make it your dream home. Kit included.

Important Policy Information:

1) Workshop Registrations are NON-REFUNDABLE. However, you may sell or transfer your class to another person. Fees paid for Workshops may also be transferred to different dates/workshops offered by Sally Jean directly (space available) with a $50 deduction of the credit per class day and only provided the notice of transfer is made 30-days or more prior to original Workshop date. Within 30 days of the original workshop there is no option for this. Please note there is no guarantee of future workshops. We realize that unexpected issues may arise which prevent you from attending a Workshop - but remember that a space has been set aside for you. No one circumstance is more important than another - so this policy is firm. You must notify us in writing (via email) of any changes.
2) The registration fee includes the glass kit for the project.
3) Accommodations, meals not listed, and transportation are not included.
4) A modest supply list will be emailed prior to the workshop.
5) Registration is online only and space is limited. Register early.
6) The workshop location will be in the Poway area of San Diego, CA - details and directions will be sent to registered attendees approximately 30 days prior to the workshop. Please note that the Workshop location may not accessible by public transportation. Workshop hours are 10:00 am -5:30 pm.
7) If, due to illness or another event out of my control, your Workshop is canceled, we will make every effort to reschedule it and transfer your registration. Otherwise, your registration fee will be refunded. We recommend that you take out travel insurance in the event of this occurrence. We will not be liable for any expenses beyond the Workshop Registration Fee.
8) Workshops must be paid for at the time of Registration. Please make payments online with your credit card.
